Highland Park 12 year Viking Honor gift set with 18 year mini 0.75l, alc. 40% by volume

Highland Park is not only one of the northernmost distilleries in Scotland, but also one of the oldest. The distillery's operators claim that it was founded in 1798. Located in the town of Kirkwall on the Orkneys, Highland Park produces a spicy, smoky single malt and is one of the few distilleries in Scotland to use its own malt floors. The bottlings have nicknames reminiscent of the Vikings.

Highland Park 12 years matured the entire time in former sherry casks. Bottled with a mild 40% alcohol by volume, without coloring.

Aroma: Delicately sweet and spicy, hints of ripe fruit, heather and some peat smoke.

Taste: Sweet with some caramel, peach and ripe apple, spicy smoke with mild oak.
