The Springbank Distillery, founded in 1828, is one of the last of the 30 distilleries that once existed in the Campbeltown region. What is special about the distillery is that it produces three different single malts: Springbank, Hazelburn and Longrow. Springbank 21 years matured the entire time in a combination of former port wine and sherry casks. Bottled at 46% vol. alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.
Aroma: Light mineral peat smoke, roasted aromas, mocha and raisins, mild mix of sweetness and spice.
Taste: Dark fruits with raisins and ripe bears, slightly fleshy and mineral, nutty oak.
