Slyrs Single Malt Whiskey Oloroso Cask Miniature 0.05l, alc. 46% by volume

The Slyrs distillery has been producing single malt whiskey since 1999. In the beginning, the Lantenhammer distillery housed the production, from 2007 in its own premises in the immediate vicinity of the Schliersee. Since the beginning of 2022, Slyrs has been an independent company, which is now known beyond the German borders with a large number of different bottlings.

Slyrs Oloroso first matured in fresh American white oak casks (Virgin Oak) for an undefined period of time and then received a post-maturation in Oloroso sherry casks. Bottled at 46 vol. % alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Nose: Dry with nuts, chocolatey oak, hints of dried fruit and sulphur.

Taste: Fruity with raisins, mix of sweetness and spice, chocolatey oak, hazelnuts.
