Seven Seals Sherry Wood Finish Single Malt Whisky, 0.7l, alc. 46% by volume

The Seven Seals brand has its origins in Switzerland, but uses smoky and non-smoky single malt from Ireland for its bottlings. This is then matured in complex prepared barrels. Due to the nature of the finish casks, Seven Seals achieves significantly faster transfers from prefill/wood to whiskey.

Seven Seals Sherry Wood Finish first matured in ex-bourbon casks for an undefined period of time and then received a post-maturation in sherry casks. Bottled at 46% ABV. Alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Emphasized cereals with a chocolatey oak note, distinctive sweetness and roasted almonds.

Taste: Malty and sweet with toasted notes, oranges and zest, caramel and nutty dry oak.
