Roe & Co Cask Strength Blended Irish Whiskey 0.7l, alc. 62.3% by volume

Roe & Co traces its roots to George Roe, once a world-renowned whiskey distiller who was instrumental in bringing Irish whiskey to a truly golden age in the 19th century. Not only was the George Roe & Co distillery Ireland's largest whiskey exporter, it was also the direct neighbor of the Guinness brewery, the other big top dog in Dublin's historic brewery and distillery district. Because of Prohibition in America and cheaper competition from Scotland, the traditional distillery had to close in 1926.

Roe & Co Cask Strength matured in ex-bourbon casks for an undefined period of time. Bottled at full cask strength of 62.3 vol. % alcohol, not chill filtered.

Aroma: Sweet and creamy with grains and hints of light fruit, fresh and floral.

Palate: Sweet with caramel and toffee, hints of aniseed, fruity with cherry and coconut.
