Jameson Stout Edition Blended Irish Whiskey, 0,7l, alc. 40 Vol.-%

In 1966, the companies John Power & Son, John Jameson & Son and the Cork Distilleries Company (which operated the Old Midleton Distillery) merged to form the Irish Distillers Group. Subsequently, it was decided to close the existing distilleries and concentrate all production in a new, very modern facility. This was built in Midleton. In 1975, production ended at the Old Jameson Distillery and began at the new one. The old distillery has since been converted into a visitor center.

Jameson Stout Edition reifte für nicht definierte Zeit zuerst in Eichenholzfässern und erhielt im Anschluss eine Nachreifung in Stout-Bierfässern. Abgefüllt mit milden 40 % vol. Alkohol.

Aroma: Herbes Getreide mit leicht bitterem Einschlag, etwas Süße, Haselnüsse und Kakao.

Geschmack: Anklänge von sauren Früchten, herbes Getreide mit leicht dunkler Röstung, Marzipan.
