Jameson Black Barrel Blended Irish Whiskey, 0,7l, alc. 40 Vol.-%

In 1966, the companies John Power & Son, John Jameson & Son and the Cork Distilleries Company (which operated the Old Midleton Distillery) merged to form the Irish Distillers Group. Subsequently, it was decided to close the existing distilleries and concentrate all production in a new, very modern facility. This was built in Midleton. In 1975, production ended at the Old Jameson Distillery and began at the new one. The old distillery has since been converted into a visitor center.

Jameson Black Barrel reifte für nicht definierte Zeit in einer Kombination aus ehemaligen Bourbon- und Sherryfässern und frisch ausgebrannten Fässern. Abgefüllt mit milden 40 % vol. Alkohol.

Aroma: Leicht schokoladig mit verbranntem Holz, kernigem Getreide und angenehmer Süße.

Geschmack: Leicht pfeffrig, milde Süße mit Karamell, Anklänge von Frucht, schokoladige Eiche.
