Macallan 12 Jahre Double Cask 0,7l, alc. 40 Vol.-%

The Macallan distillery, located in the small town of Craigellachie on the banks of the River Spey, was one of the first legal distilleries in Scotland. Founded in 1824, Macallan is now one of the largest producers of single malt whisky in Scotland. Old bottlings regularly fetch record sums at auctions worldwide. Since 2017, the new distillery has been producing on a total of 36 stills.

Macallan 12 Jahre Double Cask reifte die komplette Zeit in ehemaligen Sherryfässern aus amerikanischer und europäischer Eiche. Abgefüllt mit milden 40 vol. % Alkohol, ohne Farbstoff.

Aroma: Getreidebetont mit leichter Trockenheit, süßen Aromen, reifen Früchten und etwas nussige Eiche.

Geschmack: Süß mit Toffee und Vanille, Äpfel und Birnen, frischer Ingwer mit Röstnoten und trockener Eichenholznote.
