Highland Park is not only one of the northernmost distilleries in Scotland, but also one of the oldest. The operators of the distillery claim that it was founded back in 1798. Located in the small town of Kirkwall on the Orkneys, Highland Park produces a spicy, smoky single malt and is one of the few distilleries in Scotland to use its own malting floors. The bottlings bear names reminiscent of the Vikings.

Highland Park Triskelion reifte für nicht definierte Zeit in einer Kombination aus ehemaligen Bourbon- und Sherryfässern. Abgefüllt mit 45,1 % vol. Alkohol, ohne Farbstoff.

Aroma: Reife Früchte, nussiger Sherry, süß mit floralen Noten und mineralischem Rauch, trockenes Holz

Geschmack: Fruchtsüße und -säure im Mix, Honig und Vanille, Waldfrüchte mit zarter Würzigkeit und milder Eiche.
