Glendalough Madeira Cask Finish 0,7l, alc. 42 Vol.-%

Five friends from Dublin founded the Glendalough Distillery in 2011. Various styles of Irish whiskey are produced on site in small batches. The distillery also produces gin. The label on the bottles features St. Kevin, who, according to legend, stood in the water with blackbird eggs in his hands for 13 days and 13 nights until the chicks hatched. He stayed there for another 13 days until they fledged.

Glendalough Single Cask Madeira Cask Finish reifte für nicht definierte Zeit zuerst in ehemaligen Bourbonfässern und erhielt im Anschluss eine Nachreifung in einem einzelnen Madeirafass. Abgefüllt mit 42 % vol. Alkohol.

Aroma: Anklänge von dunkler Frucht, süßes Getreide mit milder Würzigkeit und leicht trockener Eiche.

Geschmack: Fruchtig mit Kirschen und Pfirsichen, Karamell, Getreide, leicht pfeffrige Eichenholznote.
