Glendalough Burgundy Cask Finish 0,7l, alc. 42 Vol.-%

Five friends from Dublin founded the Glendalough Distillery in 2011. Various styles of Irish whiskey are produced on site in small batches. The distillery also produces gin. The label on the bottles features St. Kevin, who, according to legend, stood in the water with blackbird eggs in his hands for 13 days and 13 nights until the chicks hatched. He stayed there for another 13 days until they fledged.

Glendalough Single Cask Burgundy Cask Finish reifte für nicht definierte Zeit zuerst in ehemaligen Bourbonfässern und erhielt im Anschluss eine Nachreifung in einem einzelnen Madeirafass. Abgefüllt mit 42 % vol. Alkohol.

Aroma: Rote Fruchtigkeit mit Anklängen von Leder, Süße und milden Gewürzen, trockene Eiche.

Geschmack: Zitrusfrüchte und rote Beeren, etwas Toffee und Pfeffer, zarte Weinnote, Holz.
