Arran Quarter Cask The Bothy 0,7l, alc. 56,2 Vol.-%

The Lochranza distillery, which was called Arran Distillery until 2020, was founded in 1995 and is located in the town of Lochranza on the Isle of Arran. The distillery currently sells single malts under the name of the island, which are produced both with and without peat smoke. In future, however, the smoky production will move to the new Lagg Distillery, which has been built in the south of the island. 

Arran Quarter Cask The Bothy reifte für nicht definierte Zeit in ehemaligen Bourbonfässern und erhielt im Anschluss eine Nachreifung in Quarter Casks aus amerikanischer Weißeiche. Abgefüllt mit kräftigen 56,2 % vol. Alkohol, ohne Farbstoff und nicht kältefiltriert.

Aroma: Frische Eichenholznote, würzig mit unterschwelliger Süße, Anklängen von Früchten und einer Spur Chili.

Geschmack: Pfeffrig und holzbetont mit Vanille, Anklänge tropischer Früchte, Getreide.
