Highland Park is not only one of the northernmost distilleries in Scotland, but also one of the oldest. The operators of the distillery claim that it was founded back in 1798. Located in the small town of Kirkwall on the Orkneys, Highland Park produces a spicy, smoky single malt and is one of the few distilleries in Scotland to use its own malting floors. The bottlings bear names reminiscent of the Vikings.

Highland Park Ice 17 Jahre reifte die komplette Zeit in ehemaligen Bourbonfässern. Abgefüllt mit kräftigen 53,9 % vol. Alkohol, ohne Farbstoff und nicht kältefiltriert.

Aroma: Aromatischer Mix aus Süße und Würze mit exotischen Fruchtnoten, Kräutern und Heidekraut, malzig mit trockener Eiche.

Geschmack: Süß mit Kuchenteig und Gebäck, Karamell und Vanille, fruchtig mit Ananas und Mango, leichter Rauch und angenehme Eiche.
