The Deanston Distillery was founded in 1965 in the village of the same name in the southern Highlands. Production is based in an 18th century cotton mill and is partly based on organically grown barley. The distillery obtains its electricity from a power station a few miles away, which dams the waters of the River Teith.

Deanston 12 Jahre reifte die komplette Zeit in ehemaligen Bourbonfässern. Abgefüllt mit 46,3 vol. % Alkohol, ohne Farbstoff und nicht kältefiltriert.

Aroma: Vanille und Puderzucker, herbes Getreide mit zarter Frucht und frischem Eichenholz.

Geschmack: Süß und fruchtbetont, Mirabelle und reife Birne, malzig, zarte Würzigkeit mit einer Spur Eiche.
