Laphroaig 10 Jahre Sherry Oak Finish 0,7l, alc. 48 Vol.-%

The Laphroaig Distillery was officially founded in 1815 in the south of the Scottish Hebridean island of Islay. During Prohibition, the distillery's whisky was sold as medicine, which explains the appearance and features of the whiskies. In 1994, the distillery received the Royal Warrant from King Charles III. He greatly appreciates the smoky single malt whisky from Laphroaig and visits the distillery regularly. Laphroaig translates as "the beautiful hollow by the wide bay".

Laphroaig 10 Jahre Sherry Oak reifte zuerst in einer Kombination aus ehemaligen Bourbon- und Sherryfässern und erhielt im Anschluss eine Nachreifung in Oloroso-Sherryfässern. Abgefüllt mit 48 vol. % Alkohol, nicht kältefiltriert.

Aroma: Schokoladige Süße mit subtiler Würzigkeit, geröstete Nüsse mit Anklängen dunkler Früchte, rauchig.

Geschmack: Süß mit Kräuterhonig und etwas Gewürz, Brombeeren, Nussschokolade und medizinischer Torfrauch.
