Laphroaig 10 years Sherry Oak Finish 0,7l, alc. 48 Vol.-%

The Laphroaig Distillery was officially founded in 1815 in the south of the Scottish Hebridean island of Islay. During Prohibition, the distillery's whisky was sold as medicine, which explains the appearance and features of the whiskies. In 1994, the distillery received the Royal Warrant from King Charles III. He greatly appreciates the smoky single malt whisky from Laphroaig and visits the distillery regularly. Laphroaig translates as "the beautiful hollow by the wide bay".

Laphroaig 10 Year Old Sherry Oak first matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks and was then matured in Oloroso sherry casks. Bottled at 48% alcohol by volume, not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Chocolatey sweetness with subtle spiciness, roasted nuts with hints of dark fruits, smoky.

Taste: Sweet with herbal honey and some spice, blackberries, nut chocolate and medicinal peat smoke.
