Highland Park is not only one of the northernmost distilleries in Scotland, but also one of the oldest. The operators of the distillery claim that it was founded back in 1798. Located in the small town of Kirkwall on the Orkneys, Highland Park produces a spicy, smoky single malt and is one of the few distilleries in Scotland to use its own malting floors. The bottlings bear names reminiscent of the Vikings.

Highland Park 21 Jahre reifte die komplette Zeit in einer Kombination aus ehemaligen Bourbon- und Sherryfässern. Abgefüllt mit 46 % vol. Alkohol, ohne Farbstoff.

Aroma: Tropische Früchte, süßes Trockenobst, Süße und Würze im Mix mit subtiler Eichenholznote und Ingwer.

Geschmack: Säuerlich-süß mit Ananas und Mango, etwas Orangeschale, Vanille und Karamell, würzig-blumig mit trockener Eiche.
