In 1966, the companies John Power & Son, John Jameson & Son and the Cork Distilleries Company (which operated the Old Midleton Distillery) merged to form the Irish Distillers Group. Subsequently, it was decided to close the existing distilleries and concentrate all production in a new, very modern facility. This was built in Midleton. In 1975, production ended at the Old Jameson Distillery and began at the new one. The old distillery has since been converted into a visitor center.

Redbreast 15 Jahre reifte die komplette Zeit in einer Kombination aus ehemaligen Bourbon- und Sherryfässern. Abgefüllt mit 46 % vol. Alkohol, nicht kältefiltriert.

Aroma: Tiefe Fruchtigkeit mit aromatischem Mix aus Gewürzen und Süße, geröstete Haselnüsse und trockenem Getreide.

Geschmack: Karamell, Vanille, etwas Pfeffer und Nelke, reife Orangen und Bananen mit nussiger Eiche, floral und würzig.
