Laphroaig Quarter Casks 0,7l, alc. 48 Vol.-%

The Laphroaig Distillery was officially founded in 1815 in the south of the Scottish Hebridean island of Islay. During Prohibition, the distillery's whisky was sold as medicine, which explains the appearance and features of the whiskies. In 1994, the distillery received the Royal Warrant from King Charles III. He greatly appreciates the smoky single malt whisky from Laphroaig and visits the distillery regularly. Laphroaig translates as "the beautiful hollow by the wide bay".

Laphroaig Quarter Cask reifte für nicht definierte Zeit zuerst in Bourbonfässern und erhielt im Anschluss eine Nachreifung in Quarter Casks. Abgefüllt mit kräftigen 48 vol. % Alkohol, nicht kältefiltriert.

Aroma: Torfrauch, Mix aus Gewürzen und Süße, frisch mit Noten von Kräutern, Seetang und etwas Eiche.

Geschmack: Maritime Anklänge mit medizinischer Rauchigkeit, Kräuterhonig, Gewürzen und Eichenholz.
