Highland Park is not only one of the northernmost distilleries in Scotland, but also one of the oldest. The operators of the distillery claim that it was founded back in 1798. Located in the small town of Kirkwall on the Orkneys, Highland Park produces a spicy, smoky single malt and is one of the few distilleries in Scotland to use its own malting floors. The bottlings bear names reminiscent of the Vikings.

Highland Park 18 Jahre reifte die komplette Zeit in ehemaligen Sherryfässern. Abgefüllt mit 43 % vol. Alkohol, ohne Farbstoff.

Aroma: Sehr fruchtbetont und süß mit Gebäck und Gewürzen, leicht schokoladige Eichenholznote.

Geschmack: Aprikose und Pfirsich, cremige Vanille und Toffee, aromatische Gewürznote mit floralen Kanten und Eiche.
