Highland Park is not only one of the northernmost distilleries in Scotland, but also one of the oldest. The operators of the distillery claim that it was founded back in 1798. Located in the small town of Kirkwall on the Orkneys, Highland Park produces a spicy, smoky single malt and is one of the few distilleries in Scotland to use its own malting floors. The bottlings bear names reminiscent of the Vikings.

Highland Park 15 Years matured the entire time in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks. Bottled with 44 % vol. Alcohol, without colorant.

Aroma: Sweet and fruity, citrus peel, light smoky notes with spicy aromas and some oak.

Taste: Herbal honey and vanilla, candied orange peel, hints of raisins and slightly spicy peat smoke.
