Matured in refill casks as well as PX (Pedro Ximénez) and Oloroso-seasoned European oak butts, this whisky combines Lagavulin's signature peat smoke with enticing notes of dark fruit, sweet sherry spice, and a hint of salty sea air.

Aroma: Typical Lagavulin, with wisps of smoke, a sea breeze, seaweed, and a campfire. Then come sweet sherry notes with raisins, figs, and dark chocolate. Behind these, spicy oak and a hint of leather.

Taste: Full-bodied and explosive. Peat smoke and juicy dried fruits, caramel and espresso. Velvety sherry sweetness, salt, pepper and licorice underline the maritime character.
