Edradour Distillery, once Scotland's smallest distillery, has been independently owned again since 2002. Run by Andrew Symington, owner and founder of Signatory Vintage, the Highland distillery is truly a luminary owner. Since he took over, very diverse bottlings have come onto the market on a regular basis. Edradour bottles single malts under its own name without peat smoke, as a ballechin with peat smoke.

Edradour Ballechin Cuvee 8 years is a marriage of the smoky Ballechin and the non-smoky Edradour single malt. This cuvee matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks. Bottled at 46 vol. % alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Nose: Aromatic smokiness with honey, hazelnuts, toasted grain and some oak.

Taste: Nutty with spices, subtle sweetness, some sherry and hints of ashy peat smoke.

Attention: The product image can differ from the actually available bottling!
