It wasn't until 1967 that a second distillery was built directly next to the old, aging one. For a time, the distilleries produced in parallel as Clynelish A and Clynelish B. After a brief closure of the old distillery, both distilleries were restarted a short time later. The old one was named Brora, the new one remained Clynelish. In 1983, the old Brora Distillery was finally closed. While Clynelish established itself with the quality produced there over the last almost 40 years, Brora experienced a rebirth in May 2021 and has been producing again ever since.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"margin-bottom: 11px;\"\u003eClynelish 14 Year Old matured the entire time in ex-bourbon casks.
