With the AD/ Heritage Barley Release, the distillery focuses specifically on traditional barley varieties - this second edition in the series is distilled 100% from unpeated Golden Promise barley, which gives the spirit its oily, viscous, characterful Ardnamurchan style.

For this edition, the identical spirit was matured in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks in parallel and bottled separately - this allows for a direct comparison of the influence of the two cask types.
