Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2011 Islay Single Malt Scotch Whiskey 0.7l, alc. 50% by volume

The Bruichladdich distillery was founded in 1881 by the Harvey brothers on the banks of Loch Indaal. Closed in 1994, a group of private investors breathed new life into the distillery in 2000. Today Bruichladdich produces single malt whiskey under its own name on the island of Islay without any peat smoke. Medium-strong smoky whiskey as Port Charlotte and the smokiest single malts in the world as Octomore.

Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2011 matured in ex-bourbon casks for 10 years. Bottled at a strong 50 vol. % alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Floral notes and sweetness in balance, exotic fruity with hints of coconut, buttery.

Taste: Fruity with pears, melons and a hint of orange, sweet with honey and malt sugar, hay.
